“The 2nd annual Smalltown Gathering returns to magical & artistic Salida, Colorado. The roots ofSmalltownwere planted by both Campout for the Cause and Renewal. These wonderful events and community have led us to a new home in downtown Salida, and the birth of The Smalltown Gathering: Music. Yoga. Community.
The venue is Riverside Park, along the river and under the cottonwoods, with two stages, yoga classes, a kids' zone, art vendors, food trucks, and more.
Smalltown is a quality over quantity gathering that has always been intimate, family-friendly and committed to community and conscious living. Unlike large-scale commercial festivals, we choose to remain intimate and intentional. Integrating the fabric of the community into all aspects of the gathering. Quality over quantity is a mantra and the festival is heralded for leaving their event spaces cleaner that they found them. Past performers have included names like Billy Strings, Elephant Revival, Fruition, Gregory Alan Isakov, The California Honeydrops, and more.”
