The local women’s community chorus, The Noteables, will present their spring concert, Circles of Life,on Sunday, May 3 at 3:00pm
Under the animated direction of Linda Taylor, the chorus will perform a wide variety of songs that encourage us to embrace the unknown, inspire us to explore new circles of life and remind us that we are all in this together.
The program includes spring ballads, Broadway, Nature’s stories, humorous selections and songs about crossing new bridges, while laughing at the absurdities of life.
The Noteables will welcome in the spring season with the Gershwin tune, They All Laughed, followed by Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time. The contemplative, Begin Again encourages us to get Closer to the Flame which makes Crossing a Bridge, from Anastasia, less frightening. Take a road trip with us, leave Colorado and jump into the circle of New York, New York. The hilarious A is For Alto sets us straight as to who is really running the show. Plus, many more.
The Noteables are proud to present Men of Note, a new and exciting local men's a cappella quintet, directed by Dave Small. Their debut will include Over the Rainbow, Shambala, Oh, Pretty Woman by Roy Orbisonand James Taylor’s Shower the People.
The show will also feature Oso Blanco on drums, Kathleen Chiras on electric bass and flautist, Brenda Covert.
Music is healing and brings perfect strangers together in laughter, joy and harmony, something that The Noteables are famous for! Join us during these difficult times for a concert series that will lighten your heart and lead you to new circles of life.
